More Blogging, less slogging

I have actually no idea why I am bothering to make this entry. I think I am trying to get into the habit of updating the site in some little way a little bit more, so that it doesn't just sit on the web for a forthnight before I finally guilt myself into updating it with something major. After all, once I have the gallery in place there won't be very many big code updates to make, except for massive overhauls of things to get them better/quicker/funkier. I am sure funkier is a word, go look it up.
The plan for this weekend is to work on a prototype gallery of sorts for images and then to upload a few photos. Luckily for me one of my first jobs out of college was creating an online gallery for a geographic company. Now they wanted an interactive map that you would use to search for photos and all manner of crazy features for searching using text. But I still have that code knocking around, so I can just strip out the crap and boom, half the job is done. I might even use the map, if I could be bothered adding it into the layout of the site. We shall just have to wait and see.
