Oh my poor little site

I hadn't realised how long it has been since I even updated a blog entry on this, let alone do any code work for it. Sadly I have been pretty busy the last month or so and time is just something I do not have much of. First of all work has been pretty hectic, then I signed up for a ditance learning course that started this month, next my driving test is coming up and finally my little weekend nixer (that is my other job that I shouldn't really do for people not familiar with the term) has asked me to design a website for them. So all in all I am lucky to get enough time to eat and sleep.

Of course most of this is my own fault. I signed up for the distance course without anybody else insisting that I do it, just because I wanted to do the course, so I can't blame that on anybody. The hectic day job is just normal, who hasn't got a hectic day job? The driving test was bound to hit me when I was least prepared for it. Plus I could have just told the Nixer crowd I was too busy to take on a website job, but the money was easy and who doesn't like making a little extra cash?

So I guess it was bound to happen that something would suffer the bauble sadly was it. But things are starting to calm down a little. Work is getting less hectic, the website is nearly finished for the nixer (aside from a few tweaks that I know I have to finish) so that will be out of my hair. The driving test is still a few weeks away and all that I need do for that is sit a pretest once a week and also study the rules of the road for the Q&A bit. Once I get more time, I can get back to working on this site. For instance, the gallery section is soon to be fixed with a different bit of code, a javascript gallery that I have used on the nixer site and would work really well here. Plus, I might be taking down the comments page until I can get it working better (stupid ordering of comments is not what I expected it to be).
