A double post, you lucky people.

I just read this and had to post about it.

People like the teacher in that article should be banned from using anything more complex than a stick and some sand for doing their computing work.

There are more choices out there for operating systems than just windows. Oddly enough, you do not need to have Windows on your computer to make it work. It just happens to be the most prominent one Operating System because it comes pre installed, that is just so your basic user doesn't need to know how to install a computer when they buy a new one. Don't fall into the same trap as the douche bag in that article.
