Why do I do it to myself?

I have just finished making the code changes to the website that led to so much hassle last night. Except this time I had a backup in place. I even tried something that I should have done last night. I made a second website online and was able to test all the code there without breaking this main section.

Clever! Why not do that earlier you idiot!

Of course not a lot will be noticed by any visitors to the site, as it is mainly background work and cleaning up of files. You might notice your address bar displays slightly different words than last week but that would be about the extent of it.

I am now hungry and while I do have non-tech news I fear the need to go and eat outweighs the need to entertain. So I shall go forth and forage (in the fridge, I'm a modern caveman me) for something to eat and post about the other stuff tomorrow.
