Two more gigs

Was at the Comedy Dublin contest last night, forgot it was on and never signed up dammit to hell, and ended up getting my next two gigs lined up.

The contest itself was a great laugh, there was some really good acts on and the crowd was laughing all night. The improv from the Comedy Dublin lads themselves was as funny as always.

At night's end I was just saying good night to Geo, who runs The Tap Club, and had been on that night. He offered me a slot in The Tap on the 26th of March. So that is number one lined up. The regular comedy club show runner also offered me my first twenty minute slot at his new Thursday club. It is the opener slot, which he said is very tough in this place, but he reckons I have come become strong enough on the stage to pull it off.

Which was a nice boost to the ego I have to admit. So that is on the 19th of March.

All I had planned to do was go in for some comedy and I left with two more gigs to look forward to.

I am also very, very tired.

I actually had to post this rant twice. The first time it worked but the files never appeared where they should. As somebody else has pointed out, maybe my little jester is loosing what marbles he has left.

I hate finding intermittent bugs, you never get them easy.
