Panama HaHa

Performing the Panama Bar tonight at the Panama HaHa comedy club. This is my first long performance, twenty minutes, and I have to admit I am looking forward to it.

Over the weekend I cleaned up my material. I have removed all the kiddie fiddling jokes and pure filth/cheap laugh. So now I have one file that contains all my new material and some of the old clean material from before.

Not that I just got rid of the cheap stuff. Geo, who runs the comedy club in The Tap, said they have a "Dark Night" were that sort of material is golden. So I will keep it for that sort of gig only. Sure it is comedy gold after all.

As the gods would have it, after collecting all the clean material, it turns out I have twenty two minutes of stuff from the last year. Loads to use tonight then.

I have some new jokes in my head at the minute as well, just need to flesh them out a little bit.

This gig will be interesting though. I was at the club last week and it is a tough place. Not the crowd so much as the set up and how sound travels. But stage time is stage time and I love doing the gigs be they good or bad.

This would be made easier if I didn't have a sore throat of course. I picked it up on Wednesday morning and have just about got rid of it today. Either that or I have gotten a cold because I don't feel the full one hundred percent.

But sure the show must go on and all that.

Also this has to be the best thing on the internets.
