I had great plans last night, epic plans of brilliance and productivity.

Instead I wound up watching a dvd and doing none of the plans.

Ah well, there is always tonight I guess.

The plans were probably a little on the ambitious side anyway. I was going to do some more rewrites of the book, research the best publishers/agents to send off the sample chapters, redo the cover letter, get a little sketching in, make some website code so that I can have a stack of premade pages and finally add in a few new features to The Bauble.

Instead I wound up watching a dvd. But I did cut my hair as well, so that is sorta not as bad as totally vegging out right?

I did do one thing to the site though.

Many years ago (well two-ish to be precise) I started this site for the purpose of just ranting and raving like a mad man. I never really saw the point/purpose of maintaining a proper blog. As the moments progressed I started to enjoy the blogging, even going so far as to put up tech-head rants that I thought might be useful. Then it became an online journal in the proper sense of the word, with rants that were more about the day to day things happening to me.

Recently a reader pointed out that there is a clear difference between some of the earlier rants (which come across as a mad man full of the rage) and the recent rants (which come across just as a mad man). The recent ones are more in tune with who I am these days, as obviously as the earlier ones were more in tune with who I was back then.

As such I cleaned up the introduction on the "Videos" index page, because that was created back when I thought The Bauble was going to be the angry ramblings of a crazy man.

Now it's just the ramblings of a crazy man, but I'm okay with that.

The plan of attack for tonight: Rewrite half of a chapter, type up a new cover letter, little bit of sketching. If I manage to get one of these done I might go as mad as to "Tweet" about it.
