Things That Bugged Me This Morning

For starters, my wages. Or lack thereof.

I got paid six days ago and already I am in need of next month's wage. Rent and bills account for a sizeable chunk, as does the fact that due to those new levies I am down another two hundred euro a month. Overall I think Joe Government netted a nice four hundred and eighty euro from me this month. Which isn't very nice now is it.

My alarm going off this morning, that annoyed me as well. Because I didn't get the best nights sleep and really didn't want to have to face coming into this place for another eight hours of "fun".

Then traffic. I left after nine and there was still loads of rush hour traffic (or should that be rush two hour these days?) all over the place. I don't mind rush hour, I mind the bad drivers that inhabit rush hour. The morons that talk on the phones and miss the lights changing, the idiots that stop in a yellow box despite the fact they wouldn't have made the turn even if they waited another twenty minutes because the road they are going onto is blocked, The tossers that don't indicate ever. It does not make for a zen like driving experience let me tell you.

On the upside I get to relax later with the lady, which is always a great way to unwind. I head off to Paris for a few days on the 10th, which I can't wait for. I have a new t-shirt design in my head, which I can start working on soon. And this rant has helped get all that crap off my chest so it doesn't bother me anymore.

Overall, it's a good day.
