Old Adverts

Sitting around the other day, watching the idiot box while waiting for the water to heat for a shower, I saw an old ad on the screen for Milkway Bars. You might remember it, the one with the two cartoon race cars, one red and one blue, that go along?

Then last night during dinner another ancient ad was on the telly for Winegums, the one with the Scottish guy dancing around the "hoose".

There really must be a recession in progress if they are digging up ads that old and putting them on the telly once more. It is the best cost saving measure I can come up with at any rate, use what you know worked before.

Either that or they might be thinking that everyone who saw those ads the first time around is long since dead. Who knows.
