I am still working on the image gallery. I do have code in place, but I am testing it, so that will just have to wait a while longer. I had one that I liked but then the thumbnails didn't work out so well. What I might just end up doing is copying the gallery that Facebook uses. It is nice, simple, basic, and works on all browsers. That has always been one big thing about me and my site, I want to make sure that every browser can use it and that things are no more complicated than they need to be.

Then again I frequently visit a website that is just randomly entertaining stuff, but it also has a gallery on it for users. The gallery is similar to Facebook's but not entirely. It is slightly more along the lines of what I would want as well I think.

I was toying with a fancy one that you could roll the mouse over and it would magically display the image for you, but that got very buggy trying to make sure it worked in every browser.

My original plan was to add a link on the "Random Stuff" page that would go off to the gallery, but now I think I would rather have the gallery link in the menu along the top. Sadly this means I have a small issue with real estate. So the site might be putting on a bit of weight in the next few weeks to allow for the new menu item.

Still thinking of retiring/upgrading the comments section as well. But that is the next project to work on. Gallery is definitely first.

Also pondering things work related. To stay around and see if the new company that I will soon be working for will be better than the current one? To get up and go searching for pastures greener? To look at maybe setting up shop somewhere else in the world.

To have the soup for lunch?

Big questions to be asking.

Not to mention that the Comedy Co-op, while not entirely dead, is still an idea that is going through my mind.

Also there is that book that I need to finish writing. Although six chapters left, not bad. I should start plotting something else now as well.

Is it possible that I need a holiday?

While I am rambling on here as well I want to throw this question out to the readers: What do you think of the site? Is it something that you enjoy reading? Do you like the layout/colour scheme/images/content? Would you miss it if it ever went away? Leave me a comment if you would be so kind.

Not that it ever is going away, at least not any time soon. For the minimal cost that it is to run the site I think I can manage to keep it alive even if nobody reads it.

After all, if I kept all this crap in my head I would go crazy.
