No Real Reason...

...just to pass the time if I was being truly honest. After the joy of passing the NCT yesterday my desire to do work has been killed somewhat. I am not fully sure if I am even getting as much done as I should be. I have caught up on all the jobs from yesterday and nearly have them finished and most of the work from today is done as well so that is something I guess. But I could be a tad more productive I guess.

One thing I was thinking about, now that I have a gallery of sorts working, is that I have an excuse to actually get back into proper amounts of drawing. With somewhere to call my own to display the images it just makes sense.

Most artists like me (rank amateurs) use their bebo/facebook/myspace/random-social-networking-site to display their drawings. While there is nothing wrong with that, I just never thought it would be for me.

Then when I started to regularly visit a few webcomic sites, along with the blogs of the comic artists, and saw that they all had galleries on their blogs I figured that this was a good idea.

Ergo, Bauble Gallery.

So I don't really plan on using the gallery to upload pictures and photos, that is what my facebook is for. I may upload the odd photo, but only if it is relevant to the drawings in an album.

Like my next little album (or possibly the one after that). It will have a photo in it that I took in the underground car park of the local shop yesterday. I had stopped off to get some food for lunch and as I got back to the car I noticed this design on the wall, it looked like the glue from a sign that had fallen off. But the colouring just put an image into my head and I took a snap of it. If I get the picture drawn I will upload that photo to show you the origin of the finished piece.

Now to have a look at other areas of the site and see where they can be improved, or what new features can be added. Mostly the gallery seems to have gone down well with one or two small suggestions from different people.

Of this, I am pleased.
