So, a regular reader of The Bauble just suggested to me that maybe a subscription service to the site wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. So that when I post a new rant that you get an email telling you about it, maybe even containing the rant if I was that way inclined.

Well the question now is this: Would anybody actually use such a feature?

I have a rough idea of how many people actually visit the site on a semi-regular basis (it is actually in double digits which impresses me no end) but would a subscription really be need. Are my meanders and rambles that interesting that somebody would want to get an email when I rant?

I suppose the feature could be extended to include when I upload a gallery/image or update the chronicles as well. Also there are a few people that have stopped visiting the site because their work place have blocked the web, but still have email. So I suppose for those visitors having the rants emailed to a work accessible email would be useful.

Anyway, despite saying no new features were coming down the line it would appear that a new one might be. Depending on how many people let me know they would use it.

In other news just had lunch with the lady friend out near her work place. A damn tasty sandwich was eaten. Also got a little star struck at the sight of Brian O'Driscoll just sitting in the outdoors of the cafe having lunch with some mates. Didn't make a holy show of myself, but it was a little surreal for me.

Anyway, work beckons.
