Second Site

Ha, oh that heading is just pun-tastic ain't it.

What that is in reference to is the t-shirt store that I mentioned setting up. Since I now have The Bauble working with brand spanking new code, doing some things that it never did three years ago, I have the bulk of the hard work done for the second website. A few tweaks, one or two inner changes, followed by some new graphics and the site will be all good in the hood.

Lucky for me I won't have to be one that provides content for this new website, since I will be handing that task over to the brother.

Once the site is ready the Zazzle store will be created, followed by uploading some t-shirt designs, and we shall see what we shall see.

Also scanning the news websites and other bits and bobs today and found out that the EU have decided to probe deeper into the Sun/Oracle merger that is taking place. While most folks will be thinking "Oh...um!" I am thinking "For fuck sake!".

See I work for Sun and this merger was meant to be completed sometime last month, then sometime in October. The EU has set a deadline of Jan 19th 2010 for the decision on the matter. If they, for some reason, decide against the merge then Sun is in trouble, as is everyone else that works for the company.

Why oh why did the EU tossers have to stand up and pretend to be important, they couldn't just say "Yep, the US said it's okay then we back them up".

Guess I should consider writing up a new CV. Just to be on the safe side.
