The End Of Team Millbank

29-09-2009

Over the weekend I moved house (well apartment but, so I guess home would be a better word to use). Actually home could also imply that I moved back to my family home.

The place that I currently reside at is different to the place I previously resided at for the last while.

Better?

Not really, but who cares.

Anyway the moral of the story is that Team Millbank (sort of an inside joke) is no more a team. After a few years of living with H, each moment of madness chronicled accordingly, we have parted ways. Just one of those little things that happens I guess.

Of course the friendship endures, in case anybody is going to be thinking that a massive argument erupted to terminate our living status.

It was just one of those grown up things to do.

Because now I am living in sin, to use the old Church lingo, and have moved in with the lady friend.

The new apartment is great, mainly because of the female that occupies it with me, but also because it is great. It's big, new, close to work, many good things like that.

There are a few things that we need to get the landlord to sort out still (when he answers the phone of course) and also a minor issue with the fact that I have far too much crap. Over the years I have accumulated so much stuff that multi-car multi-trips were needed to ferry the stuff back and forth.

With one trip left for tonight to wrap it all up with.

But overall good times are being had and good times are ahead.

Once the last of the furniture is unpacked and set up it will be relaxing central have no fear of that. Also need to get some internet and telly into the place (it has been ordered but the monkey on the other end of the phone has to follow her colour by numbers before it gets installed) so for a while any rants will be posted during work.

But sure what else am I going to be doing in work, right?
