Four To Go

As the weekend fast approaches it is doubly special for me, since this Friday is my last day in work until the New Year kicks in. The sixth day of the New Year to be precise.

See for some reason I didn't manage to take a lot of holidays this year (might be something to do with my workload being insanely high but lets not get down to nit-picking) and as a result I had far too many days coming into the last month of the year.

Sixteen days to be precise.

According to the old EU you have to take at least twenty a year and my job kinda enforces this rule. So I figured why not just take off the month of December.

Which I did.

Plus a few days in January (to make sure that I don't work on my birthday).

It's going to be good times all round I tell ya. Weeks off with no work, brilliant stuff.

I have Christmas shopping to get done during that time so it won't all be relaxing and chilling but it will be damn close to it.

Ah...if only I could get paid for being off work all the time. While still being paid the same amount of money of course.
