Yesterday the lady friend sent on an interesting link that mentioned a radio station in the city is looking for new folks to go work there.

Now it isn't any real mystery that at the minute my job is not exactly the funzone that I had thought it would be when I first started working here. The workload increases, the payslip decreases and all the while I am left bored and busy at the same time.

Such is life.

But on a whim and a bit of encouragement form the lady (who seems to think that I wouldn't be bad at working in radio to some degree) I sent off my details and my CV.

The link had all the details of the sorts of roles they are looking to fill and the people they want to hear from. All walks of life basically and all sorts of jobs. No real details on if any are on offer or anything like that but God loves a trier.

So like I said I sent off the CV and attached some links to the some of my comedy gigs that have videos on The Bauble. I also threw in one of the rants from last year to show my writing style and what the site is usually populated with.

Might hear nothing back.

Might hear something back.

Might make a carrer change with a slight step sideways.

Who knows?

In other news: Writing still going strong (-ish). Chapter Five started the other night, four pages into it now. I still think the plot and writing need a lot of work but the lady friend has been reading the chapters as I finish them and she seems to be enjoying them. There are also threats of kicking me in the crotch if I don't stop saying that the story is pure crap because she claims it isn't.

I am almost tempted to add a word counter to the site so that people can see I am meeting the target of five hundred words each day. But I know the day I do that is the day it stops being something I enjoy and starts being something that "has to be done" and nobody likes that.

Also, saw "Daybreakers" last night. Pretty funky vampire flick. But I just want to set the record straight. The phrase "You can trust Dafoe with a bow." came from me, despite it appearing elsewhere in sites and facebooks related to me.
