Never Trust Them
26-02-2012So I recently got fraped, recently as in within the last fifteen minutes from posting this entry. I foolish left my laptop unlocked and took a call in another room, only to come back and see that a few people had commented on my Facebook status.
Which was funny, since I had not posted a status in a while.
It didn't take long to figure out that A) something had been done to the laptop while I was away and B) who was the culprit.
See the lady friend has this one strange trait, she cannot lie. As in at all. As in not even a white one. She goes bright red and starts laughing like a maniac. It is the worst poker face that a person could have. So a quick scan of the three people in room revealed pretty soon that herself was the person that had posted the entry on my profile.
Cue the revenge of a tech-head.
See tech-heads are bastards and I am a bastard in general. So my revenge? I didn't frape her back, no no. That would be too obvious, too subtle. Not a way for her to learn her lesson.
I did something else. I quickly download a picture of a mangina and told her I was editing her website homepage to show it.
This was backed up by me opening up an editor with the code for her site there, me typing a few quick changes.
My plan of course was to not be that bad a bastard. I had downloaded two pictures from the net. One of the mangina, one of Duff-man. She was unware of the second picture, which is were the real element of bastard comes from. Most of the time I don't do my revenge exactly as I suggest, I just plant the seed of fear in the person's mind. It's much more fun, they can come up with much worse things on their own. All you have to do is smile and grin, it works wonders.
A few minutes later the code and image was uploaded to her site and everyone around the table was laughing while she begs me to take it down.
After a minute of letting her mind work on the worst case I showed her exactly what change I had made. All was fine in her world once more, but the lesson was learned quite quickly.
Tech-heads tend to have some skills that will allow the revenge for a simple frape to be a bit above and beyond what it should be.
We really are bastards at the end of the day.
