What I've Been Up To

Realised I hadn't posted something in a while. Don't like developing that habit with The Bauble, always sits badly with me. Not that my ramblings and mutterings are something that people actually read. No, it's more that I like to try and post semi-regularly so that I can justify the hosting costs

I have been doing stuff lately though, so that would explain the lack of posting.

Work has been pretty busy the last few weeks (can you say working until midnight on a Friday night? I can ) but who wants to hear about that sorta crap? Nobody, that's who.

Art wise I have a few ideas for pictures and paintings floating around in my head. I even started working on one of the pictures. As per usual expect a post with some snaps of the finished piece and the various stages at some point.

Wedding wise things are moving along at a very nice pace. The date has been set, the venue booked, the church booked. Hell the lady friend has even gone and gotten the wedding dress already. We've a budget planned out and a rough idea of the guest list. Things are actually going swimmingly on that front, minus the mild panic and pandemonium that usually go with wedding planning.

I've even a bit of coding going on lately. Since I started using Instagram on my phone a fair bit to throw up the odd sketch I figured it might not be the worst idea to get a widget going on The Bauble, one that shows my account feed. Also I've been working on the brother's site a bit. After a meeting (as in we were in a pub with a laptop discussing the changes he wanted. All very professional and grown up like) we had there are some big changes coming to that site. All will be revealed soon hopefully (some of the changes are a bit bigger than others so it's a time thing really).

That about wraps up this entry and should keep the digital dust off The Bauble for a few more weeks.
