December Blitz
17-12-2012Holy crap this was one busy month.
Usually when it comes to Christmas I am long sorted with the present shopping at this stage. Hell most years I have it all wrapped up by the second of the month and can sit back and relax, pointing and laughing at the panicked masses as they race around the city shopping.
This year I am not entirely sure what happened. All I know is it is the 17th and I am still three presents short of a Santa Sack.
But all round it has been a fairly hectic month. Myself and the ladyfriend have actually spent very little time together, or even in the house, due to parties and work dos and other events cropping up. Any spare time we have had has been mainly spent in a zombie state on the sofa as we stared at the idiot (being the dog running in circles) and the telly.
Thankfully we are entering the home stretch now though. This week, for me at least, should be a fairly quiet affair in the run up to my time off work. Herself, probably not so lucky with relaxation time but them's the breaks.
Roll on Friday I tell ya so I can have two weeks off all the madness.
Not that that will happen of course, madness doesn't really have to come looking for me it generally knows where I am most of the time.
